So I am on the road, having had an amazing visit with Knitting Angel and currently seeing College Roommate. Next week, I will be with the parents and may have more leasure to blog, but for now, I am working on my first sock. Knitting Angel got me started and wrote out careful instructions. I am about an inch from making my first heel. Here is the sock sitting on College Roommate's lap.
Knitting Angel laaughed at me when she saw my stash, because it is all of this neatly balled yarn, with no labels. So I do not know what this is, but I bought it at a yarn store in Belfast, ME, from a woman who had worked on a political campaign with my friend JDM Jr's younger brother. It is superwash merino sock yarn of some sort.
